PDX Event Participation Terms and Conditions

At Paradox Interactive, we are committed to providing a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for all our event participants. Whether you’re an attendee or staff member, we have a shared responsibility to make everyone feel welcome and safe.

Each participant agrees to follow the rules herein and understands that Paradox Interactive staff can refuse the participant entry to the event or remove the participant without liability for any reason at Paradox Interactive’s sole discretion.

Identity of the participant

To ensure the safety of all participants at the event, prevent unauthorized people from gaining access to the event, and ensure Paradox’s compliance with relevant laws, all attendees must be prepared to present valid identification (such as an ID card, driver's license, or passport) to verify their identity at the event.

We only collect, use, store and transfer ("process") your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including but not limited to the (EU) General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) ("GDPR") and applicable national data protection legislation. Code of Conduct during the Event

The following behaviors are unacceptable and will not be tolerated during the event:

● Harassment: Any form of harassment, including (but not limited to):

○ Verbal comments that reinforce social structures of domination related to race, religion, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, or age.

○ Sexual images or language in public spaces.

○ Intimidation, stalking, or following.

○ Harassing photography or recording.

○ Sustained disruption of talks or other events.

○ Inappropriate physical contact or unwelcome sexual attention.

○ Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior.

● Hate Speech and Symbols: Public display of imagery, clothing, or symbols associated with hate speech and racism, including those illegal under Swedish law (e.g., swastikas, SS symbols).

● Disruptive Behavior: Any behavior that disrupts the event or creates a hostile or unwelcoming environment for others.

● Illegal Activities: Consumption of illegal drugs or any activity that violates Swedish law.
